If your domain is already registered, you do not have to pay for these. Just choose the "I will use my existing domain, and update my nameservers only" option from the signup form.
† The prices listed above are for domains purchased or transferred together with a dh2.net's web hosting plan only. Additional domains, either parked or addon, are each $4.00/month, $10 setup plus annual domain registration fee.
* Names have a two (2) years minimum registration period at this moment.
** .tm names have a 10 years only registration requirement.
The registry stipulates that domain transfers are the same as new one-year name registrations. Transfers add 365 days to the time remaining on the registration.
Exception: The registry will not add a year if the domain is transferred within the first 45 days of the extended/renewed year.
Before you try to transfer the domain name, you will need to check the domain name in whois.
Make sure you have access to the e-mail address that is listed for the Administrative Contact. If you do not have access to this address, you must update it before you request the transfer. If you need assistance with this, please contact us.
Next, check when the domain name was registered (the Created date) to make sure it is at least 61 days old. Domain names must be registered for at least 61 days before they can be transferred.
Also, check to make sure the domain name will not expire soon. We will not be able to initiate a domain transfer if the domain name is within 14 days of the expiration date.
